It was a lovely white-ish Christmas here in Belleville, and tons of fun now that Siena is a year older. All of the Weidmann aunts, uncles, and cousins were in town, adding to the cheer. Here are some highlights:
Opening presents from the family on Christmas Eve. This was by far the most special gift Siena received -- a copy of "The Night Before Christmas" narrated by Siena's 91 and 92-year old great grandparents, Nanna and Daddio. There wasn't a dry eye in the room by the time we reached the end! A gift to be cherished for a lifetime... Thanks to Aunt Dede for the idea.

Wow, look what Santa left us!
Opening a bath toy from Auntie Putz -- a set of 3 dogs whose spots "wash off" in the tub. Definitely a highlight, along with the bath basketball hoop and toddler cell phone. :)
Helping Picky with the Hollandaise sauce for this year's annual Christmas breakfast, prepared at our house this year. It was PERFECT! Way to go, Picky! The curse of the separating Hollandaise has been broken.
Siena's 97-year-old (and still kicking!) great-grandfather, Pops, joined us for the Christmas festivities. We are so blessed to have THREE of Siena's great-grandparents still with us.
