I'm a bit behind in posting Libby's 15 month update (she's now 16 months), but here are the stats from her recent doctor's appointment:
weight: 23 lbs 3.5 oz (51st percentile)
height: 31 inches (60th percentile)
head: 18.25 inches (61st percentile)
Still average all around -- hooray! As usual she was a trooper with the shots and didn't even flinch with the first one. Just one more round before a nice 2-year break from vaccinations.
Libby continues to crack us up on a daily basis. She is a toddler of extremes, either silent or shouting. Her favorite word to shout right now is "BABY!", as she is currently obsessed with everything baby and is rarely seen without a baby doll in her arms. She still gives great hugs and loves to snuggle. Unfortunately she is now earning about a B- in the sleep deparment -- although she still sleeps through the night most of the time, when she does wake up it's next to impossible to get her back to sleep without bringing her into our bed. Not a huge deal, and most likely due to the separation anxiety that is common around this age. Siena was still in our bed nearly every night at this point, so I'm not going to complain! Otherwise, Libby spends her waking hours building her ever-expanding vocabulary and having a ball with her big sister. It's hard to believe how big she's getting -- definitely not a baby anymore!
