There's always something going on around here, but two recent outings are worth noting. One was the "Touch a Truck" event at the Shrine, where local emergency units, constuction companies, and other businesses bring their trucks for kids to look at and climb into. It was a great morning and there were SO many neat trucks to check out up close. Of course Daddy volunteered to show off his department's fire truck (which he has a license to drive now, by the way), which made it even better.

Our second big outing was our first bikeride as a family of five. Although we easily spent more time getting ready for the ride than we did on the trail, it was totally worth it. The girls had a blast and can't wait to get out there again!
