Look Who's FIVE!

It's hard to believe our once-baby Siena is already five! She's definitely a girl now and it's been such a joy watching her grow and mature. She continues to LOVE school and all of her friends and teachers at Blessed Sacrament. She loves arts and crafts, decorating, and basically anything involving scissors and tape. To say that Siena is enthusiastic about any reason to celebrate would be an understatement, and I predict that her grown-up house at Christmastime will rival Winnie's. :) She is a wonderful, sweet big sister to little Margaret and will be an even bigger help once Baby #4 arrives in June! Siena and Libby are the best of buds and play together beautifully about 80% of the time (which is pretty impressive in my book!). Dress-up and putting on "shows" is a favorite activity these days with those two. I have to say it's been so nice to finally reach that "easy" phase of parenthood, at least with one of our children! Of course, Siena still has her sensitive moments and can also get a tad bossy from time to time. Our favorite recent line: "Daddy, God did not put you on this earth to watch football... He put you on this earth to watch US!" :) Happy fifth birthday to our little pumpkin! We couldn't imagine life without you -- thank you for the joy you bring to our lives every single day.

Siena had the BEST fifth birthday celebration, beginning with a dream trip to the American Girl store in St. Louis with Winnie and Felicity (her doll, of course):

And then followed with a fun-filled birthday party at Pottery Hollow with all of her best friends (and sisters, of course). What a great way to ring in Age 5!
