Colorado Highlights, Part Two

We had a LOT of visitors this year, which added to the fun and certainly kept the girls entertained! We are blessed to have so many Colorado friends and family that we can catch up with at least once a year.

On our first weekend out west we had Uncle LJ, Auntie Em, Auntie Putz, Uncle Jeremy, and Mommy's friends Amie and LJ to visit. Joe, Uncle LJ, and Amie decided at the last minute to run the Aspen Half Marathon -- wow! Here we all are at the finish line. It was quite the feat for LJ having hardly trained, and for Joe coming from sea level. Way to go!

Oh, did I mention that Pops did the half marathon as well? Hee hee... Just kidding. He got lots of laughs when he put on Joe's number and rode his scooter across the finish line.

High chair lineup! We had a litte barbeque for our Glenwood friends and got to meet these two little guys, Troy and Jack. Would you believe they're 5 months younger than Libby?

Another kiddie lineup, this time with our new friend Brigid. Gotta love her beautiful red hair.

Brigid's mom and dad stayed for the weekend and brought along a smoker to cook us an unbelievable gourmet feast. Scott was in the kitchen before most of us were awake preparing the meat for dinner. I've never had such flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth tenderloin. Joe and I agreed that it pretty much ruined food for us -- everything we've had to eat since then tastes like cardboard in comparison.

Mmmm mmmm good.
