Visit from Aunt Lizzy

After an especially busy June (Joe's job uncertainties, Elizabeth's birth, Meg's board exam), we were thrilled to welcome in July and all of its good tidings... Joe now has a great new teaching job at a Catholic girls' school in St. Louis, Megan passed the nursing boards and is officially a registered nurse, and we had a great visit from Aunt Lizzy for a few days. Below are some highlights from her visit:

To the top of the Arch! It was a perfect morning to visit the St. Louis landmark, which I hadn't been to in years.

Up up up in the tiny elevator.

Siena checks out the views. She did very well for the most part, though got weary of the crowds after awhile.

Joe, Liz, and Libby

Checking out the boats on the Mississippi.

The two Elizabeths relax beneath the Arch.

Lunchtime conversation with Siena. She loves spending time with "new" family members now and talks about them long after their visit has ended. Aunt Lizzy was a favorite!
