We had a wonderful time this Labor Day weekend at Eckert's Barnyard Days, partly due to the absolutely gorgeous weather. Eckert's has recently expanded and had a great assortment of kiddie rides, animals, etc. Unfortunately, we are learning that Siena is the wimpiest kid ever and refused to try even the pony rides. Her last set of molars are coming in, which probably contributed to her skiddish mood. The only ride she was willing to attempt (and reluctantly) was the kiddie train, which putted along at about 0.5 miles per hour. Oh well! We all had a ball nonetheless.
